The Management of Hope Builders Foundation, has called on Kaduna State Government to come out with Youths Friendly Policies that gives Young People the necessary attention they deserve so as to live up to their dreams and aspirations.
Chief Executive Officer, HBF, Dr. Mathias Yashim, made the call to Governor Nasir El-Rufai, while Fielding questions from Journalists after the Kagoro Tour in Kaduna State on Saturday.
The quest for Friendly Policies came, following the numerous challenges confronting youths in the southern Part of Kaduna, especially on the need to enroll young boys and girls into both Primary and Secondary Schools respectively.
Dr. Yashim, noted that his Organisation, (HBF) has embarked on the project of sensitizing the various communities in the 24 Local Government Areas of Kaduna State, for the past seven years and will continue to promote as many campaign as possible to bring out the best in every youth so as to achieve sustainable development in the State.
He said, it remain his earnest desire for Kagoro and Kaduna as a State, to have a very Healthy nation with strong Mothers or women Entrepreneuers, including women in Politics and Administrators that will pioneer the affairs of the state in the nearest future.
The Humanitarian, further disclosed that the yearly program is meant to help young people in Kagoro, discover themselves so that Hope Builders can offer them necessary support and assistance to become what they want to be in future.
“The learning journey is part of our citizenship program in the project of Hope Builders Foundation. In Hope Builders, we believe that everybody has something to offer, everybody is something, loaded with potentials. So, Ours is just to give everybody the platform to discover themselves and then provide support for them to ensure they become what they want to be in future.
“We are committed towards building leaders, sharpening skills of people especially the young ones coming into our own space, this is what we do; Build confidence, build stamina and building lasting resilience in people in achieving their goals in life. He said.
“Kagoro has a very good space for learning as it is called a learning centre. There are so many structures in Kagoro that reviews what learning is all about, ranging from tourism, the natural Geography in Kagoro, the peaceful atmosphere, Friendly nature of the people and the accommodative custom of the people of Kagoro, Meanwhile Kagoro need the help of Government to make life better for the people.” He said.
Asked on how to better life for Children, especially those that are out of school, he noted that it is not one man’s affair, expressed that they are looking at it holistically as bringing up a child requires collaboration from Parents, Community and the Government.
He explained that strengthening Parents and Teachers Relationship for conducive learning is one of the best policies that can right the wrong of academic standard in the area.
